Steal of the Century: Chic Leather Blazer

Let me tell you something.  There are so many days when I look at Pinterest, or peruse the glistening blogosphere, or read a list that some gorgeous 22-year old fashionista posted of the umpteen beautiful things I MUST have – which usually includes the new “It” bag and a $1,000 t-shirt from Shopbop…  And then I glance over at my closet, and I feel like I might be homeless.  My love for Pinterest is unparalleled, but it does often leave me wondering how on earth I can update my wardrobe without going bankrupt.  If I added up everything on my Pinterest Wishlist, I could probably use that money to buy a small planet or cure cancer.  But alas…  we all still wanna prance around in good threads, right?  Whilst being able to pay our bills and buy diapers and plan weddings and vacations & such.  (Sigh), there’s gotta be a happy medium somewhere.

And lately, for me, that happy medium has been a little store called H&M.  I have been living in this cozy $14 off-the-shoulder sweater…  (this one’s for you, Gwennie!)

Wearing these $29 black skinny jeans whenever I really need to up the ante (and suck a few things in)…

And for the steal of the century…  throwing this adorable $39 leather blazer over Madewell’s “Bien Fait” tee for the easiest I’m-put-together-without-feeling-like-I-tried go-out-outfit, ever.  Or this combo, which I wore out in NYC last week:

Sequin Blouse (I got mine for $19…  now $74) | H&M Leather Blazer $39 | Skinnies $29Glitter Stilettos $59 – Outfit total: $144

Of course by leather blazer I mean pleather, but whatever.  Potato potatoe.

But does it look familiar?  Yeah.  It looks JUST like the Rag & Bone Pascal Blazer for $695.  BANG.

I don’t know about you, but I call that a steal, Campers.  That jacket probably won’t be around for long, so hustle out and grab one!  Also comes in cream.

Happy Bargain Shopping!
