Adorable Target Bikinis On The Cheap!

It’s time to shake your tailfeather in your brand spankin’ new Target bikini!

Tar-Jay.  My sweet, sweet Tar-Jay.  All my life you’ve provided me solace; a place I can enter and immediately feel my worries melt away.  And this summer you have not disappointed me.  You see, you came out with approximately 1 million bikinis in all styles of the season – ruffled, fringed, floral, you name it.  And you made them all less them $25.

Our friendly readers:  I know summer’s moving along quickly, but there’s still PLENTY of time to shell out 20 smacks for an adorable new two-piece.  And the great thing about Target bikinis is you can mix and match so many of them.  Or stick a colorful top of theirs with an older black bikini bottom you’ve got in the drawer.  Below are a handful of my fave bikinis available online – and check out those prices!

Hump Day Dose of Happiness

Today, in honor of the mentally disorganized week I’m having – with 1 trillion different thoughts bouncing around in my head and on my to-do list – I thought I’d take a quick breather to post a stream-of-consciousness list of all the things that are distracting me and making me REALLY, really happy:

Christopher Spitzmiller Stout Double Gourd Lamps.  In the prettiest color and the prettiest shape, ever.  Discovered following design guru Vanessa de Vargas of Turquoise LA.  If you’re not following her, you should be.

Have you ever noticed that when people get asked the, “what would you do if you won the lottery?” question, most of them talk about dreams of quitting work & buying Range Rovers & building mansions & such.  Yours truly, on the other hand, dreams of having a farm full of golden retrievers.  Like this little nugget (!&*$&#!!)  I love watching Gus graze in the backyard like a baby cow and put his little face up towards the sun.  It always makes me marvel at what wonderful little creatures people they are, and how the simplest things – sunny days, rolling in mud, warm beds, pats on the head – make them so blissfully happy.  And how they cram as much unbridled joy and love and excitement as they can into the short years they’re here.  OMG, I think my heart might explode.

If I could wear this outfit every day, I would be the happiest girl in the world.  PS, I just bought a similar version of those jeans at H&M for $39.  And they’re amazing.

These beautiful, woven chairs are to die for.

Hellooooooo, gorgeous garland!  Uh, those are DIY dip-dyed coffee filters (!!!&*%$!)  How fun for a summer party??

Sarah Richardson for Kravet’s serene Yorkville fabric in Celadon.  Those would make VERY pretty bedroom curtains.

This might be my most favorite picture I’ve ever seen.  I can’t even handle it.  It makes me SO happy… makes me want to go to the lakes…  and makes me want to hug Gus around the neck for the 27th time today.  I would love this blown up HUGE on a wall.

Happy Hump Day to all of you!!

xoxo,
