We’ll keep it real short & sweet since we’re all already 90 hours deep into the Bachelorette this season, and it’s only week 1:
1. Britt’s not my favorite, but I still never wanna see anybody sad. I thought she handled it well. Maybe girlfriend just doesn’t know what kind of eggs she likes yet.
2. She’s real cute.
3. I mean, I hate to do this cuz Clint is legit Heath Ledger hot…… but am I kinda right or am I right?? I always wondered what happened to Baby Oscar in the yellow onesie from Ghostbusters II.
4. Loooooook at this guy (!!!!!) when he hears that Kaitlyn aka Wifey is the Bachelorette. What a sweetie. All beaming with pride listening to her speech. Also: do we think Shawn B is what would’ve happened if Ryan Gosling + Calvin Harris ever played swords?
5. Gotta give the guy props for bowing out to chase down Britt’s exit limo. In fact, my buddy Wingert (soccer stud for the New York Red Bulls) tuned in for about 3 seconds on Monday and said that …’if a guy picks one of them and she gets the axe, that guy should have to leave as well.” Called it, Boss!
PS: I can’t wait to see how Britt reacts when he starts strumming his guitar strings outside her hotel room door. I’m guessing a surprised face, then an “OMG I can’t believe you’re here / this is so sweet” couple of phrases, then a gentle let-down. But that’s just me. I hope she throws the kid a bone.
