(Sigh), doilies. My closet is FULL of ’em. I’m talking about those frothy, white-on-white frocks made of lace, crochet, eyelet, or any sort of feminine, intricate fabric. DOILIES. Is there anything more effortless or more ethereal?? Does ANYTHING scream summertime like a doily does??? Or look better with a sunkissed tan? Ahem – I think not. Behold: my favorite wardrobe staple of all time.
