This Ain’t Yo Mama’s Office aka Office Of The Week

This, to me, is pure, unadulterated brain candy.  LOOK at this adorable little corner, this little homemade professional space.  The owner has done such a tremendous job balancing a few looks into one nook that you forget it’s just a small little corner of a room.  The white scalloped table is playful and chic, holding a seemingly fresh bunch of flowers to the side.  The flowers are balanced on the other side with a topiary plant, drenched by sunlight, adding another bit of nature to the office area and some warmth.  The clippings posted to the mirror lend an unfussy aestethic to the corner, reminding us that this is someone’s haven for creativity.

That blue fabric wallpaper is deep and serious, while the adorable little dark coral foot rest is a dollop of fun.

I love it all!

Happy Thursday.

Room Of The Week – Easy, Breezy, Beautiful

(via)

Ahhhhhhh… To me, the above bedroom captures the calm, breezy California atmosphere I’m constantly jonesing for.  The French doors are wide open and I’m guessing a calm breeze is rustling the leaves outside, filling the room with fresh air. The linen sheets and comforter look lived-in, like the owner was staying in bed for an extra couple hours to read the newest US Weekly, I mean, New York Times.  All of it = cozy, carefree, peaceful goodness.

Have a great Monday, everyone.
