The first few minutes of a Monday are usually spent catching up with my co-workers on the past weekend’s activities, but no need this week – I’m pretty sure this song will do jussssst the trick. It seems to conjure my past weekend purrfectly: Lazy sleep-ins, bike rides to Mission Beach, mimosas for brunch, yoga and then Sunday Super Bowl fiestas. Deliciousness! Next weekend we’ll do it all over again… this time with Steph in tow. Ohhh it’s so on. Until then, enjoy this sweet Cali lullaby:

When I look at this picture, a) I physically ache for Spring, b) I imagine I’m in that car, leisurely driving off to some remote lake house for the weekend, where someone will hand me an Old Fashioned upon arrival, and c) I hear this song playing. Or something that sounds equally as 40’s and makes me want to sway back and forth in a dreamy little haze.
