Met Gala Fashion: Let’s Discuss.

Listen.  Let me preface this fashion wrap-up by telling you that 75% of the time I live in sweatpants, don’t wear makeup, and have a lion’s mane worth of hair.  And every morning, I look VERY much like Nick Nolte’s mug shot.

So yo.  Who am I to judge fashion?  …oh well.  Let’s do it anyway!  Here are my unfiltered thoughts on last night’s Met Gala red carpet:

MEOW.  Hands down, best-looking-lady on the carpet.  Game over.  Everybody else can go home.

GWYNETH PALTROW FOR LAZARO BRIDESMAIDS, ca. 1987.  I love and respect her and I love her for taking risks, but something bad happened here.  The track practice ponytail also didn’t do it for me.

CARRIE BRADSHAW FOR PRESIDENT! I can’t not love it because she looks like she’s having so much fun.  She also looks like a Roman Gladiator.

THAT DRESS IS RAD.  She just looks stunning.  Also, did she sign the Declaration of Independence?

COOLEST JACKET EVER. Also, that one-sided ‘do and hair piece makes me wanna put my hair in a banana clip.

I like her so much.  And that is why I would like to send her 75 BOXES OF GIRL SCOUT COOKIES.

ALL HAIL LADY CRAWLEY. I mean, she looks like she’s going for tea & crumpets but whatever.

STUNNING. I love Shameless, but it’s so refreshing not to see her sitting on a toilet and looking all strung out & tired.

THAT’S JUST A COOL ASS OUTFIT.  And if I had those legs, I’d run around in my underpants all day long.  Hi5 to Rachel Roy, who designed her get-up.  *FAVE*

PRINCE AHH-LIIII, FABULOUS HE, ALI-A-BA-BWAAAHHH.

THRILLED to see her in something other than a floral babydoll dress + granny cardi + sneakers + cat eye glasses.

Ashley Madekwe’s (center) dress is AMAZING.  PS, do you guys read her style blog?

I mean. I WANT THIS IN MY CLOSET.  Gorgeous.  *FAVE*

MEH.  EH.

MESH AND SPIKED AND JUST BAD ALL OVER.

SO, SO REDEEMING.  Awesome platinum hair, and killer side-boob.  She looked amazing.  *FAVE*

PUNK EYESHADOW DONE RIGHT. Plus a hunk done right.  DAMN.

PUNK EYESHADOW DONE SCARY.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIFYING.

LADYLIKE CHIC, TO THE TUNE OF PERFECTION.  She is a *doll*.

MOTIVATION.  To just throw the Papa John’s pizza I ordered in the trash can.  Damn girl.

BEST FRO I’VE EVER SEEN. And it’s pink??  I can’t even handle it.

What did you guys think??  Who were your favorites?

xoxo,
