Effortlessly Cool, Homies

(via)

Ok, so we So Cal brats have another couple months of summertime left.  I know, we’re b*tches.  But we also have extreme pollution, excruciating traffic AND sharks to worry about.  Dude, I watched Shark Week.  I’m not messing around.  That all said, ALL of us around the country still have some summer days ahead.  So with that in mind, I’m gonna dedicate this Effortlessly Cool to my favorite season – summer – which I’ll cling to like a rayon dress on a jungle juice-drenched clubgoing Jersey girl.

Without further ado, enjoy some wicked pics of gurls being effortlessly cool, and do so while listening to this song.

Here’s to the last few days and weeks of warmth and sunshine before football, falling leaves and the smell of bonfires start to set in.

xoxo,

Hope Springs Eternal

It’s been just over a week since our good friend Andy was critically injured, as well as several others, from the collapse at the Indiana State Fair.  And it’s been truly remarkable just how many people from all over the world have reached out to try and do something to help, whether it be with a visit to the family at the hospital, helping to donate money, or offering healing prayers, which are indeed healing her, as she continues to make more and more progress each day (including her eyes briefly fluttering open yesterday!!!!).

We aren’t surprised our resilient friend is fighting the fight and would expect just that of this vivacious, beautiful girl.  Please continue to keep her in your thoughts, and for anyone interested in helping out Andy or her family, go ahead and click here to find out how.

Oh yeah, and for a daily dose of cuteness, check out Andy’s daughter, Lydia, gettin’ down to some J. Lo!

Happy Wednesday!
